The Czech Post to act as clearance agent for its customers, from April 1st
Customers ordering goods from non-EU countries (so-called third countries) after April 1st will face an important change: the Czech Post can represent them as their clearance agent (applies to individuals only).
Special Easter handstamp of the Czech Post
Personnel at the Post Office in Kraslice (in Czech: Easter Egg) cancel up to 20 thousand Easter postcards with a special Easter handstamp every year as part of the commemorative handstamp programme of the Czech Post offering special Christmas, Valentine and Easter handstamps.
Service Conditions and Price List to change, April 1st, 2011
Starting from April 1st, 2011, a 20% VAT rate will be newly charged for the services Mail Pickup and Delivery, Domestic EMS, International EMS, Commercial Parcel, Commercial Letter, their additional services and extra charges (such as charges for collection of EMS mail, International Commercial Parcels or International Commercial Letters at the sender's premises).
