Starting from April 1st, 2011, a 20% VAT rate will be newly charged for the services Mail Pickup and Delivery, Domestic EMS, International EMS, Commercial Parcel, Commercial Letter, their additional services and extra charges (such as charges for collection of EMS mail, International Commercial Parcels or International Commercial Letters at the sender's premises). This change, introduced under the amended VAT Act, makes it impossible for the sender to use a franking machine to pay for the above-mentioned services.

New additional services

We would also like to inform you about our novel additional services "SMS Alert on Delivery" and "Email Alert on Delivery"(both available from May 1st, 2011), introduced as part of our programme of improving services by extending our portfolio of additional services.

The additional "Multiple Consignment" service, available already from March 1st, 2011 under the Commercial Parcel scheme, is another of these improvements.
