About PostFila

PostFila is a specialised department of the Czech Post's procurement section. Set up in 1992, PostFila has been involved in every activity connected with the design and production of stamps and philatelic goods in the country. Certain activities of POFIS (Czech Republic) and ARTIA (abroad) have also been undertaken by PostFila in the area of sales.

The agenda of PostFila includes central printing orders for stamps, postcards and other stationeries and semi-finished products for the production of philatelic goods; central storing and distribution of stationeries used in postal operations; whole and retail sales of Czech stamps and philatelic goods to domestic collectors; distribution of stamps and philatelic goods to clubs of the Union of Czech Philatelists via the 'latest arrivals service'; and exports of stamps (including participation of the Czech Post at international stamp fairs and exhibitions).

PostFila publishes and produces books of stamps; cartes maxima; yearbooks of stamps with blackprints; commemorative prints and additional prints on its own envelopes and postcards for its own commercial purposes or for customers; and commemorative handstamps.

In the area of publicity PostFila provides its business partners and national as well as international media with written and picture materials about the latest or upcoming issues of Czech stamps; publishes annual issue plans printed in softback book format, annual posters and calendars featuring stamps of the year.
