The Postal Museum will again join the annual International Museum Day celebrations. Both the Prague and Vyšší Brod branches of the museum will be open free of charge on Tuesday, May 18th, 2010.

International Museum Day has been celebrated all over the world since 1977. Each year the International Council of Museums (ICOM) defines a specific theme for the day. The 2010 theme is Museums for Social Harmony. Different museum events and nights are held worldwide each year on or around May 18th to celebrate the International Day.
