On 18 February 2019, Petr Cinkl was appointed as Executive Director for Postal Operations and Logistic by Roman Knap, Czech Post’s Director General. Jiří Linert, the interim Acting Executive Director, continues to be the Executive Director for Czech Post’s delivery network management.

“Petr has dedicated his entire professional career to logistics. He has been involved in the transformation process of our logistic network since he began working for Czech Post. I believe that he will use outsider’s view and raise one of the key pillars of our company - the process of delivery. Today, when drivers, sorters, and delivery personnel are hard to find on the labour market, logistic is the Achilles tendon of Czech Post. However, this does not mean that we will just sit back and wait for an economic crisis to make our task of finding new employees easier. It is Petr’s task to transform our logistic settings to meet today’s trends and the needs of our customers,” said Roman Knap, Czech Post’s Director General.

Petr Cinkl was born in Mariánské Lázně in 1975. He studied logistics and transportation at the Transportation College in Prague, and gradually established himself as a manager, working for companies such as Čechofracht, CS Expres, Bosák, ESA Logistika, AWT, HOPI, and Agrofert in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.

Petr Cinkl is married, with one child, and likes hiking, sports, and healthy eating.
