Jan Mareš elected as the new chairman of Czech Post’s Supervisory Board
At today’s ordinary meeting, members of Czech Post’s Supervisory Board elected Mr. Jan Mareš, an existing member of the Supervisory Board and corporate finance expert, as their new chairman.

Czech Post’s revenues in the first year of full postal market liberalization were mainly marked with a considerable reduction in the volume of letters and money orders. Thanks to our business policy and long-term service quality standard we lost none of our significant clients in the fully open market environment. Some clients tested our competitors but most of them continued to prefer us.
Czech Post’s services must be available to all citizens
The government should precisely define the role of Czech Post. This was the conclusion of a meeting between members of the Executive Board of the Union of Towns and Municipalities, Josef Bezdíček, Antonín Lízner and Pavel Drahovzal, and Czech Post’s Director General Petr Zatloukal.
