International Commercial Parcel: a new express service of the Czech Republic
International Commercial Parcel (EPG) is a new express service offering a fast, safe and favourably priced solution to our customers that need to mail parcels from the Czech Republic abroad. You can be sure that your International Commercial Parcel will reach the addressee in countries such as, e.g. France, Germany, Ireland, England or Sweden, on the third day after the day of posting (D+3). The guaranteed time of delivery within Norway and, e.g. the island parts of Portugal or Spain, is five days.
A Czech schoolgirl wins first prize in the UPU's 2009 International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People
Dominika Koflerová (14) from Frýdek-Místek is the author of this year's world best letter. For the first time in the 38 years' history of the Universal Postal Union's letter-writing competition a Czech youngster won a medal.
Postal Silver Medal for Kateřina Neumannová
The stamp issued by the Czech Post on the occasion of the XX Winter Olympic Games, Torino, Italy, with the additional print 'K. Neumannová - Gold Medal', won the second prize in the competition of stamps celebrating this event run by the International Olympic Committee.
