Extracts from the Central Register of Executions to be newly obtained at Czech Post offices

Starting from 01 July, Czech Post’s clients can obtain certified extracts from the Central Register of Executions in the dense network of about one thousand of its offices. Previously, this convenient service has been available only at two offices of the Chamber of Executors of the Czech Republic or online. Certified extracts can now be obtained at any post office with a Czech POINT terminal.

“Czech Post’s clients can obtain many useful services beyond the basic postal services. Extracts from the Central Register of Executions is one of them. We consider our collaboration with the Executors’ Chamber as a service to our clients who can now ask for important verified information, such as whether a person with whom they want to enter into a contract is not subject to an enforcement order. This information will help them avoid future problems,” said Jan Foubík, Czech Post’s Chief Executive for Sales and Marketing.

“We believe that by improving the access to extracts from the Central Register of Executions through post offices with a Czech POINT terminal this service will become better known as an effective tool for prevention of problems in many life situations. Sometimes, people can lose property or money due to someone else’s fault. For instance, if you enter into a contract with a person who is subject to an enforcement order and you are not aware of it, it may cause you considerable complications and losses. If you check the person’s current record in the Central Register of Executions, you can prevent such complications,” added Martin Tunk, Member of the Board of the Chamber of Executors of the Czech Republic.

The Central Register of Executions enables to search for records of an enforcement order against a person under the Rules of Execution Procedure and to find the executor appointed by court to enforce the execution order. Further information include the type of claim, date of enforcement order, and suspension or discontinuance of the order.

Each page of an extract certified by Czech Post costs CZK 50.
