The 13th annual trade fair Collector is knocking at the door
The first September week will become a holiday for all philatelists as they will gather at the largest event in the Central and East European region organised for collectors of stamps, coins, phone cards, minerals and for the hobby and art of collecting itself at the Prague Letňany Exhibition Grounds from Thursday, September 2nd to Saturday, September 4th. The fair bears the all-saying title Collector.
The Czech Post comes to the fair with several new exhibits including, but not limited to, the new September 1st, 2010 issue of stamps, or sheets of new stamps featuring the four characters of the comics Čtyřlístek with custom-made additional prints or standard additional print with Myšpulín the Cat.

Visitors who want to get the Čtyřlístek stamp with their own additional prints should visit PostFila's stand No. 111 (next to the Czech Post's stand) any time during the event (Thursday&Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The staff will create the desired sheets with the stamp and additional prints, either from a classic or digital photograph brought by the customer or from a photograph made by the staff directly on the spot.
The Čtyřlístek's authors signing event on Friday afternoon is expected to create another Čtyřlístek mania.
Those who do not love comics may attend the Art of Collecting and the Nature Protection: MAB Biosphere Reserve Lower Moravia - UNESCO stamps signing event. Further highlights include two special postmarks, one with the Collector fair logotype and the other one commemorating the United Nations Day; a new type of commemorative barcoded R-stickers designed for registered letters; a variety of philatelic rarities, gift yearbooks, picture cards, etc.
Ladies and minors (up to 18 years) have free entry as usual.
