Today, the government acknowledged the document of Czech Post describing its Partner Post Office project.

The project is based on the experience from a number of foreign countries where a part of the network of postal branches is operated by contractors, i.e. by third parties. In most cases, they are run by municipalities or private entities.

Czech Post believes that the project will be more convenient for its clients because individual branch operators will be able to open the branch at times convenient for the community. Importantly, the project is also financially convenient both for Czech Post and the contractors.
