Czech Post’s “Advent” set

This year’s “Advent” set is a gift package containing 25 original postage stamps and 8 picture cards. A Christmas picture card will certainly bring more pleasure to the addressee than a text message. This year, you can send it together with a Christmas stamp.

A set of Advent stamps and picture cards

The stamps for the “Advent” set were chosen very carefully. You will not find two identical stamps in the set. The main motif contains stamps and picture cards designed by the famous illustrator of children’s books Jarmila Marešová. By the way, can you find them all?

The A-stamps are self-adhesive, printed on one print sheet and come out together with picture cards in a gift package.

Sales information

The “Advent” set contains 8 picture cards and 25 A-stamps (each stamp has a face value of CZK 13 corresponding to the current price of the domestic service Ordinary Letter - Standard up to 50 g, although the stamps can be used instead of an ordinary stamp of the same value on any domestic or international consignment). The “Advent” set costs CZK 398 inclusive of VAT (stamps are exempt from VAT).

Only a limited number of sets is on sale at selected post offices. The number of sets available at different post offices can vary.
